The Women’s Center is a Waukesha-based agency that works to provide safety, shelter, and support to those who have been impacted by domestic abuse, sexual violence, child abuse, and trafficking. The Women’s Center offers a 24-hour hotline for crisis intervention, safety planning, support, and information, an emergency shelter for safe short-term housing, housing options for transitional living and additional support, rape crisis response and advocacy, and the C.A.R.E. (Child Advocacy Resources and Empowerment) Center to provide forensic interviews, medical evaluations, and advocacy to children who have experienced abuse. The Women's Center
